About Scott & Vicki Vaughan

Scott and Vicki Vaughan, of Lexington, SC, have been together for 42 years - 37 married. They have four grown sons (three married) and three grandchildren. They have one cat, Vivian.

Scott and Vicki are authentic Jesus followers and local church leaders. They are involved in Sunday morning Sunday School, Wednesday night Bible studies, and Vacation Bible School. They regularly attend worship services.

Scott is an ordained Gospel minister and 30-year adult Bible teacher. He is also a lay preacher. As a professional writer and communicator, he serves non-profits and the North American faith community with communication strategy development. He's the emotional one.

Vicki served in technology for 35 years and works for the Veteran's Administration today. With a kind and understanding hand, she puts brides at ease. She's the logical one.

The Vaughans enjoy being active, reading, classic rock and roll, Georgia Bulldogs football, Friday Night firepits with occasional dancing, and costuming as pirates each Halloween. (Mild obsession). They love to eat, too.

In his award-winning book, Scott detailed how they met and began dating in his book, The Beauty Queen & The Reporter. The book is written as fiction but based on fact.
